Finding your Six-Pack Abs

Flat Belly Six Pack Abs Weight Loss

It’s no secret-everybody wants rock hard abdominal muscles. As a bodybuilder, you shouldn’t focus exclusively on this or any other group of muscles, but rather do training for your entire body. However, there are a few things you need to know about, and a few myths you need to bust, if you want develop your abs in a way to see results.

It is important to remember that your abdominal muscles are really no different than any other group of muscles in your body. Training to define your abs takes hard work and intensity. People who simply want to stay healthy and prevent love handles may find that doing crunches every night works perfectly, but this typical abdominal exercise, while it will help you keep off the weight, does nothing to define your muscles. Instead, you need to move to a workout that increases in intensity and gives you the look you desire.

Instead of just doing crunches ever day, try intensifying your workout by doing crunches on an incline. Do as many as possible, and each day try to do a few more. Even more beneficial than this, however, is to do regular or incline crunches with weights. Weight training will really help define your abdominal muscles, giving you the six-pack that most people only have in their dreams. Using weights, along with a healthy diet, will also help you keep the fat off, so your muscles will become even more defined, even when you are not flexing.

The abs machines you see on TV usually won’t give you a good weight workout, because there is not enough resistance to intensify your workout from week to week. These machines are good for beginners or for those with serious weight problems who need to tone down, but in general, bodybuilders shouldn’t waste their money. Instead, use one of your pulley machines to lift as you do crunches. Make sure you’re raising the stack of weights one or two inches and load it with enough weight so that you are only able to do about ten reps. Each day, intensify your workout by adding around 5% more weight to the stack. If you find that you cannot do this, that’s a sign that you need to take more time off between workouts to let your muscles rebuild from your last workout. Overall, this type of training, along with a healthy lifestyle, will help you find your six-pack.

Get Six Pack Abs: Killer Tips to Burn Fat Fast

SPL182867_031

Getting six pack abs can be a challenge. Many people spend hours a week on the treadmill yet have little to show for it. If that’s you, then these tips can help you turbocharge your workout, burn off that abdominal fat, and actually spend less time at the gym.

The number one mistake people make when doing aerobic exercise is working out at a steady state. Often, people start running on a treadmill or exercising on an elliptical trainer for 20-30 minutes. When they get no results, they simply crank up the difficulty level on the treadmill or they extend the length of their aerobic workout.

Yet if you work out at a constant pace, you will often find that even after going 60 minutes a day, 6 days a week, your abdominal fat just won’t burn off.

The problem is that when we exercise at a steady state, our bodies adjust to the level of difficulty, and any fat burning is minimized. In order to increase the rate of fat loss, you need to mix up your aerobic routine and continually keep your body guessing.

To do this, try interspersing periods of high intensity exercise with periods of lower intensity exercise. You can run (or work out on the the elliptical trainer) for 1 minute at a low intensity and then go all-out for 30 seconds. Repeat this cycle 5-7 times and include 5 minutes to warm up and 5 more minutes to cool down.

The whole routine should take you 20 minutes or less, and you really only need to do it for 2-3 days a week. As always, make sure you warm up properly beforehand, and check with your doctor before you start the program – especially if you have any history of heart problems.

In addition to this aerobic exercise, add resistance training (weight lifting) for an even bigger metabolic boost. I recommend looking into slow lifting. There is an excellent book on the subject titled The Slow Burn Fitness Revolution, by Frederick Hahn and Michael and Mary Dan Eades. In this book, they describe how you can work out for 30 minutes a week and see incredible results, both in terms of muscle gain and weight loss.

The combination of variable rate aerobic exercise and slow lifting can yield great results. You can burn fat faster than ever before, build muscle, get ripped abs, and look great – all while spending only a couple hours a week at the gym.

Three Tips to a Proper Diet for Six Pack Abs

Best-ABs-Diet legs up 2

Doing all the exercises and workouts to develop 6 pack abs is only the first step. Before you can show those abdominals off to the world you must first adopt the proper diet for six pack abs. This article is going to give

you three tips to implement when trying to shed those last pounds of tummy fat to reveal a ripped set of abs. More exactly we’ll talk about how tracking what we eat is important, how planning your meals keeps you

lean, and lastly why drinking lots of water is a must. By the end of this article you’ll feel confident that you can me the required changes to your current diet in order to lose the remaining belly fat stopping you from

having the abs you want.

We are what we eat so Track it!

Do you know how much or even what you’re eating in a day, or during the run of a week? If you don’t then it’s time you figured it out. I suggest getting an inexpensive notebook or scribbler for this task. For at least one

week, but better yet a month track everything you eat. From the scones at break with your coffee to that afternoon binge when you ran over to the vending machine in the office. Be sure you jot it down. We want to get

a birds eye view of what your diet actually looks like. This way you can see where you’re snacking or eating high fat foods, and either cut them out or replace them entirely.

Plan your meals to save calories and money

Planning your meals for a week serves two purposes.

1.) It ensures you only buy what’s needed for your meals this week at the grocery store (this saves money)

2.) You know exactly what you’re making each night, so there’s no question or chance of slipping and ordering out etc.

This can seem like a chore at first, but trust me you’ll get into it and it actually automates this part of your life. Sit down at the beginning of each week and write out what you’re going to have for your major meals. Of

course also take inventory of what you have on hand for breakfast foods (always eat breakfast), lunches etc. If you work outside the home it can be ideal to either make recipes that will have left overs for you to take to

work, or plan lunches to brown bag to avoid the temptation of fast processed foods at lunch time.

Drink water you’re body will love you

Do you drink enough water in the run of a day? You probably don’t even know. Well while you’re tracking what you’re eating start making a tally each day for the number of glasses of water you’re drinking. You should

strive for eight 8 oz. glasses a day. So why is this part of a proper diet for six pack abs? Numerous reasons:

1.) water is an appetite suppressant

2.) Water increases energy and stimulates our mind

3.) It naturally detoxes and cleanses our systems

So water isn’t a direct weight loss stimulant, but it’s a required by product of everything else you’re doing. Without water you’re over all body suffers.

There you have it three things you can change to create the proper diet for six pack abs. Don’t procrastinate on these, get yourself a notebook and start tracking what you’re eating and your water intake, and next week

plan those meals you’ll be amazed at just how easy grocery shopping and deciding what to cook and eat will be.

Proper Diet for Six Pack Abs

gangnam dance festival dancers abs

Promises of achieving a six pack abs fast are rampant in the multimedia world today. Some offer these “secrets” that when you try to observe closely have some level of truth on them. The rest holds only misconceptions. As a consumer, it is best for you to choose the correct methods as these are critical to the success of your goal to achieve a perfectly ripped abdominal.

When trying to achieve a six pack, you must consider your daily diet. Trace the meals that you are eating. As the fitness adage goes “abs is made in the kitchen”, checking your food consumption is vital to achieving your dream of a perfect body. If the diet is not synch with your exercise, results will not show.

The best practice when it comes to diet is to get you enough protein. Protein is the key building blocks in muscle tissue. Not only that, proteins gives you the feeling of fullness than consuming a plate of carb heavy meals. Also, your body needs to burn more energy to allow itself to digest the proteins. In the process, less fat is stored in the body.

It is a fact that we do avoid fats in our daily consumption. However, exemptions to this rule are monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats such as olive oils, fish oils, oils made of various nuts, peanut butter, and avocado. Take at least 20-30% of it in your daily consumption and it helps you to work on your calorie burning faster. Eating more means increasing your calorie count. Dietary fats help you keep your insulin stable. Take just enough of it or else you cause yourself fat gain.

Dietary fat helps you achieve the feeling of fullness for the longest time – longer than both protein and carbohydrates could. The interesting part here is some fat-heavy foods helps you increase your ripped muscle abs result than letting you gain body fat.

So, while you need to watch your daily fat intake, you must consume some of it in your diet.

Do not prohibit yourself from eating carbs also. Your body needs it. When it comes to carbohydrate intake, consume carb-rich foods after workout period.

Your body is really going to need those carbohydrates because your body is dehydrated of nutrients and water. Your body will directly suck them up into the muscle tissue. No more body is stored because your body has used all of it. Plus, consuming carbohydrates post workout period allows muscle recovery and repair. To the gym goers, this means less pain for all the muscle strain that you got.

Another tip is to include at least 1-2 cups of raw vegetables to control your insulin level, improve protein absorption. Vegetables are good natural source of natural vitamins, minerals, fibers, and antioxidants.

Simply put, the secret to achieving a perfectly chiseled midsection in the coming months is to give a strict execution on proper diet. That is a very difficult “secret” to remember after all.

How to Get Six Pack Abdominals!

Six-Pack Abs

I have been receiving tons of questions in regards to burning fat around the midsection and how to get 6-pack abs…

I will be straight to the point with you about how to get six pack abs.

It?s a 3 step process.

The first step is to take control of your metabolism.

The next step is to eat supportively

The final step is to complete a full body workout that is geared towards working as many muscles at once as possible.

Let?s break that down a bit more.

Step one: Take control of your metabolism

The way we do this is to stabilize your blood sugar levels. If your blood sugar levels are stable than the hormone that releases fat or liberates fat from your body is able to work. That is good news. On the other side of things, if you have an unstable blood sugar level then a hormone called insulin will work and insulin job is to stabilize your blood sugar. It does so by trapping the excess sugar and storing it as fat.

So if you are able to limit, not restrict, and simply limit your sugar intake to a reasonable amount you will notice that your body will be able to burn fat more efficiently.

Part 2 of the process is to eat supportively. Alot can be said about eating supportively. In fact people have written hundreds of books about supportive eating. Basically supportive eating is really simple. It?s eating meals that will support your lifestyle and will enhance your quest for building lean muscle mass. This will involve eating a lot of proteins and cutting back a little bit on the carbs and fats. Again I must warn you: DO NOT COMPLETLY LAY OFF THE CARBS OR FAT. It is so important to note that because carbs are where your body gets its energy from. If your body has no carbs to resort to for energy, your body will then resort to your muscles as energy and in effect eat away at your muscle (you grow weaker). Not good. So make sure you eat supportively.

The third step in this fat loss process is to follow workouts that will build you lean muscle mass and will shed fat. That sounds simple but yet it can be so difficult. I will be up front and honest with you. The majority of workouts that I see in magazines that promise 6 pack abs in 6 weeks or less are just a bunch of lies that get you to buy the magazine.

Six pack abs only become visible when your body fat is below 9% in males and 18% in females.

If you are able to understand that, then this next nugget of information will really make sense.

If your goal is to get down to 9% body fat, then it is obvious that you should build some muscle. The best and most efficient way to build muscle is to workout and do full body workouts. Full body workouts will incorporate as much muscle and therefore provide you with the greatest probability of gaining lean muscle mass.

Once you have added a few pounds of muscle and shed a few pounds of fat you will be able to see your six pack abs.

I have found this site to be very informative when it comes to getting six pack abs

Losing Stomach Fat and Get Six Pack Abs the Right Way

candy

Losing stomach fat can be a challenge. The truth is you are going to have to make some sacrifices. You will need to exercise. You will also need to watch what you eat. This in actual fact is critical. However with that said each components success is somewhat dependent on the other.

In truth some exercises will not reduce stomach fat as much as you think. Doing lots of sit ups for example will not in itself help you to lose flab around the stomach. So as mentioned above we must prioritize our goals. The first goal is to get rid of fat. You will not be able to see those wonderful muscles if you have stomach fat.

So we will need to focus on cardio and diet. This will go hand in hand in your objective to lose that stubborn fat. Now what I do is this. I do not work out for long durations on one machine. I like variety. So I work out for short intervals on a number of machines. During these intervals I increase the intensity. Then I take a rest and move on to the next machine. So the key here is to focus on intensity, short bursts of intense workouts.

You also want to work the body as a whole. Don’t think that if you focus on one area of your body to lose fat that this will happen. I think this is where many people get disappointed. The goal here is to increase your metabolic rate. Again the goal is to get rid of fat. I may be repeating my self but you must understand the nature of the problem, and that is excessive fat in certain areas of your body.

So the points to be noted here are this. You need overall fat loss. The factors involved in achieving this are as follows. Intense short workouts, with small breaks in between. Working on cardio to increase your metabolic rate hence burning calories. Treating your body as a whole, not trying to lose fat in parts. Then remember you need regular consistent exercise..

The Ultimate Secrets To A Flat Stomach And Six Pack Abs – Part 1

six pack abs, shirtless guy

So in this article I want to highlight for you the main points and strategies that I use to make this program one of the most effective programs in existance for fully developing your abdominals as well as getting rid of that stubborn stomach fat that is covering them up. Alright, here’s what make’s The Truth about Six Pack Abs different:I know that sounds counterintuitive, but the fact of the matter is that abs exercises are ok, and you do need to do a certain amount of them to develop the abdominals as best as possible. But to be honest, most people that are trying to get better looking abdominals waste WAY too much time training the abs directly. What you really need to focus on is burning off the extra fat that is covering them up. Now don’t get me wrong. It wouldn’t be an abs program if I didn’t show you the most effective exercises for developing your abdominals. I also give you detailed instructions and photos on how to do them right. But like I said, the main focus of this program is the secret method that I use to compile the full body training routines and maximize your fat burning effect. 2. This program uses none of your typical boring monotonous cardio routines. Seriously, almost every program out there tells you that you MUST do endless cardio exercise regularly to lose the body fat that is covering your abs. Most of them tell you to do 30-60 minutes of cardio exercise 3-4 days/week in addition to your strength training routines. Now you’re probably thinking that since I’m against typical boring cardio routines, then that must simply mean I’m a proponent of interval training. Yes, as a matter of fact, I believe interval training is MUCH better than typical cardio. Want proof that you don’t need typical long-duration steady-pace cardio? To give you a real life example… Personally, I haven’t done what most people would label “cardio” in probably well over 5 years, and I’m actually leaner now and have a lower bodyfat % now than years ago when I did cardio regularly. Not only that, but my heart is in the best condition ever, as I now consistently have the resting heart rate of an elite athlete at about 50 bpm (remember that lower is better). My resting heart rate used to be in the mid to upper 60′s years ago when I used to do typical cardio and strength training routines like most people do. 3. This program does NOT revolve around having to use supplements or “fat-loss” pills. The fact is, I’ve learned over the years through my own experience, as well as hundreds of my clients and friends experiences with supplements, that they are really just selling you the dream that their pill or powder will be some “magical” solution to your struggle with getting that lean ripped body that you’ve been wanting for years. In reality, most supplements do nothing at all to help you improve your body. But the fact is that real food is always better for you than processed supplements (as long as you pick the right “real foods”). Anybody that tells you otherwise has either been brainwashed by all of the propaganda and super-hyped up ads that the supplement companies have spread throughout every magazine on the planet, or they have financial ties to selling supplements in some way themselves. Frankly, it amazes me that most people are more willing to spend $30, $40, even $50 or more on a bottle of pills or powder than to spend $30 on a comprehensive training and nutrition guide like this Truth about Six Pack Abs program, which will set them up for life on training programs and dietary secrets that will keep them lean and ripped for life. The only thing that bottle of pills or powder is going to do is give you expensive urine! You make the choice. In case you were suckered into buying any of these worthless ab belts, loungers, rockers, or any other worthless ab gadget or machine, I have bad news… You were ripped off! Also, more importantly, virtually all of these abs machines, belts, and gadgets do absolutely NOTHING to burn fat off of the abdominal area! 5. This program does not include some sort of fad diet or gimmicky diet trend. The fact is that they need to come up with some sort of different “angle”, so that their diet program appears unique and gives the media something to talk about. That’s why there’s always some gimmick, like low-fat, or low-carb, or high protein, or the “colors diet”, the “low glycemic index diet”, the fasting diet, the cabbage diet, and so on. The great thing is that once you start eating balanced and healthy all the time, you virtually eliminate cravings altogether. Personally, I used to crave sweets constantly before I adopted the nutritious diet that I currently eat. Now, I can honestly say I can’t remember the last craving I had. It had to be more than 5 years ago… no joke! I hope this article has given you some insight as to where you may be going wrong with your exercise and nutrition plans in striving for those elusive abs. See below for more info on losing stubborn stomach fat and developing ripped six pack abs.
